I started a new video podcast series! The UnFragmented Bible puts the Bible back together into the cohesive whole it was meant to be rather than cutting out the parts we like to make it say whatever we want.
I got really passionate about this while doing a sermon series on the land/king/exile narrative in the Old Testament and how Jesus came as the fulfillment of those promises. This is foundational biblical Christian theology, but many have opted for the “make the Bible say whatever we want” approach instead.
When we understand this in unfragmented form, we get a very different picture of following Jesus—especially regarding nationalism, loving our neighbor, power, and how to read and apply the Bible.
