My latest article published on Covenant Eyes’ blog is entitled The Growl of An Empty Stomach. It’s about why we are drawn to sexual and relational temptation and how we can cure our symptoms.

Noah, really great article on knowing Jesus being the way out of porn. Not sure how true this is for other SSA guys, but having attractions for guys and feeling it’s all kinds of screwed up, porn wasn’t about wanting to be a god, it was about wanting to be ok. When God loving you breaks thru the screwed up places and is real, what porn offers no longer satisfies.
You’ve been given a good message that makes a difference. Praying that your book makes it to those who would be changed by it.
thanks so much for that encouragement Alan! The book publishing grind is truly a marathon. Basically just trying to build my “platform” size and then reporting my numbers to Zondervan. They haven’t said no yet, so that’s good! God is helping me with my patience; it’s definitely been a stretching experience for me! I’m efforting to get published in some Christian magazines as well, which will help my “platform” / resume. Thanks again for the encouragement that this writing is helpful, it goes a long way!
Hey man, I really mean it when I say things on your blog really helped me deal with porn as a believer. The thanks go to you. If it would help, I would be glad to send a letter to that effect to Zondervan. Just hit my email with an address and who to send it to. If Zondervan doesn’t come thru, hope that your material gets out thru another path. It takes grace to get free of porn. In the middle of the struggle, I realized porn combines lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and pride in uniquely powerful enslaving ways. Sometimes the grace that frees comes thru the words of those who can communicate and point to it. You’re one of those guys blessed to do that well.d
I really appreciate that Alan, you’re awesome! I don’t think that’d be helpful at this stage of the game, as the only thing they (or any publisher) is looking for is the blog stats, social media follows, etc. I know you already do, but if you can just spread the word about my blog that’d be the most helpful thing at this stage. Do you use social media? If not no biggee but if you do, that’s a great place to copy and paste blog post links.
oh, and there’s two things you can do for my podcast that would help as well (Again, those stats that they want)…
Rate my podcast on iTunes (in iTunes, click “Ratings and Reviews” then “Write a Review”

A couple hours ago had read & left a message on your “Signed by a Literary Agent…” post and signed up for Podcast & followed then. Glad there’s a Podcast, I’m Android on phone & laptop and don’t think I can do iTunes. But I’ll try to rate there tho.
Thank you Alan! You should be able to download iTunes for PC. Much appreciated!
